The attorneys of Tekell & Atkins secured a total settlement of more than $535,000.00* for a couple injured in a head-on collision on State Highway 6, near Marlin, Texas.

*Total net settlement received by clients after the payment of attorneys' fees and litigation expenses.

The attorneys of Tekell & Atkins were lead counsel in a multi-party lawsuit involving Asian policyholders and their claims of misrepresentation against a large life insurance carrier. The parties settled all claims in February 2007.

The attorneys of Tekell & Atkins obtained a jury verdict and Judgment against a Bell County realtor for damages caused by misrepresentations made by the realtor.  The Judgment included economic damages and attorneys' fees. (The Judgment has been appealed by the Defendants.)

The attorneys of Tekell & Atkins represented beneficiaries of a large testamentary trust, and obtained a Summary Judgment from the Dallas County Probate Court, validating our clients' interpretation of provisions relating to termination and final distribution of the trust.
