History

After many successful years of practicing insurance defense with Waco's largest defense firm, David Tekell joined practices with his wife, Angela Eads Tekell, in 1997.

In 2006, Pat Atkins joined the firm after practicing for 15 years with one of Waco's oldest and largest firms.

The firm has established an office in Bell County with Arthur C. "Cappy" Eads, who served Bell County as its high-profile District Attorney for 25 years.

The lawyers of Tekell & Atkins, LLP have combined their experience to develop a broad practice, representing both sides of the docket.
